What is it?   Remedial massage is firm in pressure, using thumbs, hands and elbows to stimulate your muscles, increase and improve circulation, release knots and tightness and release endorphins.

How does it work?  Massage increases circulation which in turns helps boost your immune system and prompts the body to heal itself.  By stimulating your muscles with massage, you increase their mobility and enable them to work better.  A massage treatment improves your lymphatic drainage which carries waste away from your body's tissue, which is why I encourage my clients to drink plenty of water after their treatment to flush the toxins out of your system. When you manipulate a tight ligament or muscle it relieves pain and tightness.

Who needs it?   Quite simply everyone; those who are well and those who aren't.   When we are tired or anxious, stressed or nursing an injury, we carry our bodies differently - which then impacts on the rest of our body.  Which then needs a massage!  Our bodies endure constant wear and tear and we expect a lot from them.  They need regular nurturing to remain in tip top condition and a regular massage is one of the kindest things you can do for your body to keep it in good overall health.

How much is it?   An hour's session is $100.
